Wuteh Furniture Factory S.A. is implementing a project titled:
"Improvement of Occupational Health and Safety Conditions at WUTEH through the Purchase and Installation of a Dust Extraction System in the Laminate Edging Room"
The project is co-financed by the Social Insurance Fund under the program aimed at maintaining the ability to work throughout the entire professional activity period – funding actions to improve occupational health and safety as part of accident prevention.
The main objective of the investment project is to improve occupational health and safety conditions at WUTEH by reducing occupational risks associated with dust exposure for carpenters, production workers, and auxiliary production staff through the purchase and installation of a new, efficient dust extraction system. This objective directly stems from the workplace improvement plan included in the occupational risk assessment.
The implementation of this investment will help reduce the risk of respiratory system diseases, such as: pneumoconiosis, lung and bronchial cancers, alveolitis, and irritation of the mucous membranes of the eyes and respiratory system.
